About QA

Qualifications Australia is about the skills and knowledge that you have accumulated through your jobs, work and/or life experiences. For example, working in an office could help you get a Certificate in Business Administration. Working as a Mechanic in an Automotive Industry could count towards a Qualification in Automotive Technology. Working as a Patisserie Cook/Chef or as a kitchen Chef can get you a Certificate in Patisserie or Commercial Cookery. This applies to many other professions like Beauty Therapy, Nail Art, IT Sectors, Media…etc.

Before considering a new study or training program, think about what skills you already have. You may be able to reduce the time and effort it takes to get your qualification which does not require any study at all.

Being awarded Australian Qualifications through QA’s authorized Australian education providers means that you don’t have to study what you already know. Instead, you provide evidence that you already have the knowledge and skills that studying the qualification would give you.

Evidence for an assessment can be attained through both paid and voluntary work, in  Australia and/or overseas. Qualifications gained through QA range from Certificates and Diplomas up to Advanced Diplomas and Graduate Diplomas.

Being awarded nationally and internationally recognized qualifications through QA, shows employers what you know and gives you an important feeling of self-worth. A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required and the experience cited as evidence must be from the last 3-5 years

QA programs/qualifications are accredited by the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), which makes it an Australian Nationally Recognized Qualification that meets the Australian and International Industry Standards.
